Pavlov's Meat Loaf You'll Have 'em Droolin'
for More!
Directions Combine all ingredients. Mix well. Pack into 4 small loaf pans.
Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Makes 4 small loaves.

"Better Than Crab Grass" Salad
Directions Combine vegetables in medium bow. Add chicken stock and toss.
Sprinkle with catnip and serve at room temperature. Store leftovers in the refrigerator up to 3 days. Makes 1-2 cups.
Note This recipe is from the Old Farmer's Almanac. It adds needed fiber
to a cat's mostly meat diet, and it's one more way to get rid of that pesky glut of summer zucchini!
*Catnip is optional, but it's guaranteed to get your cat to eat this stuff.

"Woof 'em Down" Doggie Cookies
Directions Combine all dry ingredients. In a small bowl, mix together
stock and oil. Gradually add to dry ingredients, stirring until all ingredients are mixed well. Turn out the dough onto a
lightly floured surface and knead well. Roll out dough to 1/8-inch thick and cut into cookies with a bone-shaped cookie cutter.*
Bake 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees. Turn off the heat and allow the biscuits to harden
in the oven for several hours. Cover and store biscuits in the refrigerator. Makes 24-36 biscuits, depending on size of cookie
cutter.
Note *Dog's don't really care if you use a bone-shaped cutter, or not.
